Service to the Armed Forces


 

 

 

 

 

 

The Red Cross operates an around-the-clock, around-the-world emergency communication network for the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families.  This service operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and transmits or receives over 600,000 messages per year at no cost to service personnel or their families.

To reach members of your family who are in the armed forces during times of emergency need, call the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Communications Facility toll-free at 800-608-8630.  If the Servicemember is assigned to Ft. Bliss, Biggs Army Airfield, McGregor Range or Oro Grande Range, call 1-877-272-7337. 


Please be prepared to provide the service member's:
• Full Name
• Social Security Number
• Branch of Service
• Rank
• Military Unit
